A media campaign raised awareness of the nationally acclaimed chocolates dreamt up and expertly executed by Chocolatier Joanne Hanson.
Hansen, owner of Bon Bon Chocolates and Bakery in San Diego, CA, started her professional life as a mortgage broker for over 20 years. Her love for travel soon blossomed into vacations visiting the chocolate capitals of Europe, where her interest was piqued in finding the most pure and tasteful chocolates somewhere in the US.
PW built media relationships with outlets interested in the Bon Bon story maximizing coverage of Bon Bon Chocolates for St. Valentine’s Day on February 14th. As a result, sales were increased while raising awareness. While doing this we also positioned Hansen as a resource and expert on making chocolates.
After creating a complete press kit, compiling a relevant and current media list, we pitched the story to local and national outlets. As a result, Bon Bon Chocolates and Joanne Hansen were featured in articles or stories on the following media:
